Professional Business Headshots
What Is A Business Headshot, And Why Should You Have One?
Business headshots are photographs that are taken from the mid-chest up. These photographs focus on your face. These aim to show off your personality, professionalism, confidence, and aproachability.
You can use these on your website, in your email signature, on business cards, and in other digital or print marketing. Business headshots perfectly fit your LinkedIn and other online networking platforms.
Potential clients, employers, or people looking to connect find you online before they’ve had a chance to shake your hand. This is why it’s so important to have a professional business headshot that makes a killer first impression.
Whatever your reason for seeking a great business headshot, I’m here to help you find the best location, different poses, smile, and lighting to bring your best features forward and provide a good first impression. See if a branding photography session is right for you.
Tips on getting a great business headshot
Make sure that the outfit you want to be photographed in is clean, pressed, and ready to go a few days before. No jamming your wardrobe into a backpack!
Make sure to keep makeup and jewelry to a minimum, we don’t want to distract from the most important element. Your Face!
Avoid clothes that are too close to your skin tone or you’ll blend in. Also, stay away from logos and really busy patterns.
Pose and Expression are everything in your headshot so I’ll help coach you into a relaxed posture and will help create confident and approachable expressions during your session.
My Headshot Process
So, how does it all work? I make it as easy for you to walk away with the best headshots you’ve ever had as I can. Every session at Armato Headshots is tailored to you.
Simply use my scheduler link at the bottom of the page to pick a day and time that works for you, and book it right here. No back and forth through email.
Once you come in, we’ll chat for a few minutes so I can get to know you, your business, and what it is that you’re looking for with your new headshots.
You can hang your outfits on the rack when you walk in and we’ll go through them together to pick out what will look the best on camera. I always suggest starting with whatever your favorite is!
During your session, I will coach and guide you on pose and facial expression. After each set, we will look at what we just shot, delete what you don’t like, and start making a collection of what you feel represents you and your brand the best.
After you feel like you have exactly what you want and need, we’ll go through the images together and pick out the favorites that you’d like to purchase. I’m always happy to give as much input as you’d like.

Business Headshot Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I wear to my business photoshoot?
A: We recommend a few different options - but the most important piece is to find something you feel comfortable and confident wearing during the photo shoot. Your comfort level will come through in your images. By starting out in that favorite dress or suit, you get the entire session off on the right foot. Bright colors tend to photograph better than dull/dark colors. You should wear what you work in - set the expectation for how your customers and clients will see you as they visit your business or meet with you outside of your office.
Q: Do you do on-site headshot sessions so our whole team can participate?
A: We sure do! We can schedule an on-site headshot photo session to incorporate everyone in your office to not only get all the images done at once, but we can also create a consistent environment, background, and look that can lend cohesiveness to your branding across all images.
Q: How should I prepare for my headshot session?
A: A good night’s rest, hydration, and a solid skincare routine leading up to your headshot session can improve the outcome. While we can fix small imperfections with photo editing, having a solid foundation to build on with bright eyes, hydrated skin, and a rested, positive outlook will ensure the end product is everything you’ve anticipated
